You remind me of my mother. She always has holiday and seasonal decorations and scenes set up around her house using figurines, themed candles, and cute little houses. I think this is a womanly decorative art that is important to set the tone for inside the household, gentle and modest rather than gaudy like those monstrous modern decorations outside.
