What was the first narrative music video (as in not just the band mugging for a camera) that impacted you?
For me it was You Got Lucky by Tom Petty. Whenever MTV decided to air it, which was not often, I sat there in silence, glued to every movement on the screen. To this day, I have to watch it if I ever see it.
It was not the song, mind you. I only ever owned 1 Petty record, the much later Full Moon Fever.
I have no explanation for this.
