quotingI’m sorry you feel like that. We zap posts that we find newsworthy, funny, informative or otherwise of value. Usually the posts are related to what we do (Bitcoin related products). We manually zap just a handle of posts a day - nothing automated, scammy or hundreds of1 Sat zaps.

You’re right, Nostr isn’t Google ads, the zaps going directly to the content maker which we think is pretty cool. As nostr is free for anyone to say what they like, if we choose to put details of our services in the zap so be it :-)
We’re just trying it out, if people don’t like it, it won’t create any new business, and therefore not viable and we’ll try something else. Just market dynamics and us learning as we go. Until then, just mute us.
That said - it’s useful to reflect on your feedback. Thank you.

Genuinely interested in others thoughts on this. I know CARLA (npub1hu3…h8nh) and walker (npub1cj8…rz4u) did a great talk on this in Prague last year. Anyone other businesses trying it? What works / doesn’t work or found to be “best practice”?
