I did watch the video and I did not feel like Singh was threatening physical violence. He used his physical presence to defend himself. I do believe that these hecklers are harassing and bullying Singh, in part to make progressive Canadians feel fearful by proxy. While Singh has power in his political party, he has no real power over street bullies. The police may have come to his aid if things got physical but he certainly cannot rely on that as a Sikh and a person of colour.
