Sobriety sux, except for all the exceptional benefits to physical/mental/emotional health ... The ability to not feel like you're in a nightmare loop of using and shame... The ability to feel like you're actually possibly maybe able to move forward in life... The ability to not feel chained to an addiction and feeling like you can't handle life without the addiction. So many benefits!!!
It's pretty annoying to have to put one's health first, but for me, things rapidly fall apart if I don't make health a priority. Like, I can't cut corners with health...no matter how much I try 😅
