It is possible to be interested in decentralization but also be interested in sharing personal information.
If I were to ever use a nostr client with ads, I would absolutely prefer that those ads be tailored to me as much as possible.
What good is an ad for an event that is more than an hours drive ffrom me... or for a product that I would never have interest in.
