Really, the big publishers are stealing far more from artists than any petty attribution thief ever did. I'll worry about Photoshop Larry once the Disney empire has been repossessed and distributed among the people actually creating that stuff.
But I admittedly haven't been given a dime for my art, so I get that some people have a lot of skin in the pot.
