What defines a “marginalized community”? What is an “everyday folk”? Someone who is a “folk” every single day?

Are these “biases” only structural and institutionalized? Or are the sometimes biological? Who needs to do the addressing and how? Can biological differences actually be “addressed” by social revolution? Is that even desirable for a functioning society to “address” the “biases” of class and sex differences?

Will erasing all distinctions between people (and especially among the most distinct ones!) actually “better the human condition” for anyone?

History says no.

There are exactly two kinds of people, regardless of race, sex, class, or creed: mostly productive and mostly unproductive.

Progressivism is a desire for rule by the unproductive, and it crops up when the grandchildren of productive people want to feel good about themselves and how they’re “helping better the human condition” when in fact their policies are making those conditions worse.

When productive people try to help others, with logic, reason, and a can-do attitude, they are generally successful. When the unproductive try to help, based on feelings, flawed logic, and more talk than action, more critique than solutions, they make matters worse.

As someone who previously identified as a liberal and progressive, I can confidently say the people you will argue with in this generally an-cap space understand your ideology much better than you understand theirs.
