Got together with an old school friend. It’d been so many years. After lunch he said: let’s find a guitar shop. (He plays professionally) We found a shop, he picked up a guitar, and began playing a song that was vaguely familiar to me, giving me a funny look. After a long time listening it finally dawned on me: it was a stupid song I wrote when we were maybe 13 years old. Apparently I’d taught it to him and he’d remembered it for 48 years. To have a friend that remembers something like that… 🥲
