Last week, my DNS over HTTPS server was "attacked" by a flood of Chinese IPs (not sure if they were from Alibaba). But seriously—why would an AI bot "crawl" a DNS server? That makes no sense to me.
Since this server is strictly for my personal use, I blocked all Chinese IP ranges outright. Then, I throttled all other traffic to one request per second, except for connections from the internet providers I use (both mobile and landline), which remain unrestricted.
