"content": "The problem is emulating compatible GPU hardware, real or paravirtual. The CPU part is a solved problem (emulated or virtualized doesn't make a difference).\n\nThe macOS vmkernel itself runs in qemu and has for a long time, but the best you can do with that is single user text mode. There are also significant complexities around SEP support to actually get access to a native macOS data volume, if that's what you want and not just running a VM in a box.",
