If you'd like to try out Nyctal there are two options:
- nyctal-x11 - an example nyctal compositor running in an x11 window
- nyctal-dri - a no-safety compositor that accesses rendering and input devices directly (please only use this in qemu or something).
My plan is to eventually add a few more niceties (like libseat compatibility) so it can fit a little more naturally inside a modern linux system.
