I’ve yet to hear anyone make a logically consistent (and therefore, a legally viable) argument as to how training an LLM on any work is not fair use. In fact, there doesn’t appear to be a legally defensible difference between an LLM and a search engine - once you’ve made it accessible on the internet you no longer get to decide who sees it.
