I graduated from Pottsville High School in Central PA in 1990. My class had about 475 students in it, we did the ceremony on the stadium field as there was nowhere near enough room in the gym.
I was reading an article about the commencement speaker and saw this picture. I am floored and at the same time not surprised. Small towns everywhere are DYING. I'd estimate this under 200 students. 40% of the size of my class 34 years ago.
