Probably the most annoying thing about being a city planner is when we’re blamed for how things aren’t. People repeatedly say “we should allow more x, y, z!” when we already allow it.
Yes, we’ve allowed “x, y, z” there for 40 years and that lot still isn’t developed. We can’t do anything about that. We don’t build cities. Best we can do in most cases is plant seeds.
