Way it works is, basically, every “paragraph” is a toot. Longer paragraphs are split into sentences. (Sentences that are still too long are split into chunks that fit.) These sentences are then concatenated into “paragraphs” that fit. Leftover sentences become the start of a “new” paragraph. The result is an array of less-than-500-character (or whatever your instance’s limit is) strings, which are crossposted one by one, forming one long thread.
