Fuck yeah, in my novella. The lead character is a foul-mouthed commoner of a distinctly faux-English variety, although it's coding. She's the daughter of a goat herd in prehistoric Greece.
In my novel, none at all. I wanted to challenge myself, and also I fell ass backwards into writing YA portal fic, and while HORRIBLE things happen in that genre, they don't swear. It's fuckin' weird.
