Constantly asking myself - What value do I bring to the spaces I participate in.
This thread in twitter on how to exploit the algorithm, and Casey Neistat's recent appearance on Flagrant, reminded me that nearly all social content these days is produced soley to leverage the algorithm at the cost of creativity and originality.
We exist to appease the algorithm, instead of the algorithm working for us. Then again that's not entirely true either since the Algos themselves are created with the intent to bring content to the consumer, that they will interact with the longest.
