leave them in the fridge all winter and then plant them in a large pot in late spring. The seeds germinate with warm soil temperature so you can start them on a warming mat. I grow seedlings in part-sun. The only time I e had seeds die was when squirrels or birds pulled up the seedlings thinking they were grubs so cage them for protection. Pawpaws don’t like their roots messed with so they should be planted permanently in the ground in a year.
