I tried to explain to them that no human is 1000% perfect beyond the abilities of even a deity to have absolute infallible control, but they insisted that they should give up their privacy rights because
Uhm. Actually, they weren't really clear why they should give them up, just that they should.
What is the proper answer at that point besides a block? Like, I tried to explain that that sort of attitude has far-reaching consequences that harm us all, but they didn't care about anyone else but themselves anyway, so no go there either.
