"content": "How the Internet really works! We’re in an old area with utilities in the alleys behind the houses. If they’d realized 20 years ago what was going to happen, it would have been cost-effective to dig the trenches and bury all this stuff back then. Kind of astonishing that it works at all, just like the rest of the Internet.\n\nThere are two competing “fibre” ISPs in our alley and still we in Canada pay among the world’s highest prices for bandwidth.
