I’m convinced Putin’s timing on Ukraine so soon after Trudeau, egged on by Biden, froze the bank accounts of his own citizens who opposed them had two purposes.
1) It demonstrated to the citizens of the West who were paying attention that our governments think we are no better than their foreign enemies.
2) It demonstrated to the citizens of all other countries that Western leaders consider them to be no more than their citizens to be brought to heel.
