I don't think many people can understand the transition from interest rate fiat environment to a hard money bitcoin world.
Fiat makes people chase interest, dividends, price appreciation, to keep up while their money slowly loses value.
With Bitcoin the asset appreciation in purchasing power terms is built into its scarcity. Just holding is enough to transport purchasing power into the future.
Trying to earn "yield" on BTC is playing fiat world games.
People will continue to learn this lesson the hard way going forward.
