Donald Trump's election is a profound threat to people and planet.
There is no way that Scotland can have a normal relationship with a President who has shown such total contempt for democracy and truth.
We must focus on building our relationship with the parts of the US that do respect human rights, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, that want to fight for better climate action, and that want to be our allies against Trump and his far-right agenda.
