quotingDear Autistic Nerds,

Use your hands to gesture your words more.
For example, walk on stage and wave open palm facing the crowd and say hi, everyone, I am so happy you are here.
I am about 45 minutes in and didn't realize I did a lot of this naturally.
If you have a child that you suspect is autistic, then start teaching them hand cues and facial expressions.
This could be simple daily tips you casually tell your kids. I learned how to talk to all kinds of people, because I was a waitress with my mom who trained me to take care of members of private social clubs. Now it doesn't have to be that extreme where they become a chronic people pleaser with little regard to self-care/needs. But this was a great tool to have in my box to talk to anyone from all kinds of walks of life.
Anyways, here is the video, I am still watching it....but wanted to share it with those awkward doobies.
