This is by design. By keeping the signals at least somewhat ambiguous it gives them an out if they change their mind or regret it later.

The key to seduction is giving them the ability of deniability of what they know they want. Give them the mental out of “it just happened” when everyone knows it didn’t. Most of the time, they expect you to make the first real move. Then you have to gage the reaction. If you don’t, it likely won’t happen. There are exceptions of course but in my several decades of experience, I have found this to be the case. It takes a while for a lot of younger guys to figure this out.

It’s a fine line but it’s the one we have to walk.
