#Writephant A3. What's your favorite "style" of social media and why?
Text-based. Not a big fan of having videos auto-play in my face, or endless images scrolling by - I get quickly ovewhelmed. For example with Facebook, multiple image-streams fight for attention: ads, promoted posts, group posts, messages (from scammers, more often than not).
#Mastodon is great: a single column, a filtering feature that works, no algorithm, no ads, dark mode.
