we should have never gone React in the first place. All of our applications are internal* and we are relatively speaking a smallish company. We could probably get away with no HTMX and only server side Django, but it’s nice to sprinkle a little in there to improve the experience at least a little bit.
Chalk up going with React to my inexperience and trusting in the experience of the contractors we were using at the time.
