I've long known it, but it's time for me to say it: The Republican Party has become the party of big government. Not because the #Democrats have improved, but because the #Republicans have leapfrogged them.
There are Republicans who still fight for limited-government values, and drawing conclusions about people just from their party affiliation is wrong, but these people are increasingly forced to the margins.
