Had a really interesting day yesterday. Went to North Berwick, where it chucked it down and the wind howled, but on the way back we stopped at a tiny little place called Polwarth.

We found the church where my 9x Great Grandfather hid in the crypt for a month to avoid being detained for alleged involvement in the Rye House plot.

Anyway, here's a slew of lichens I found on the metal gate of the church.
