We hate technology advances because they reduce the number of jobs. We are convinced those jobs were necessary to begin with and that we needed to do something to earn our survival.
The problem is the trade we've been coerced to make which is labor == survival.
There is more human labor available than work that needs to be done -- even at the levels of wasteful production we are at now.
Much more so if we stop wasting.
People losing jobs to tech is only bad for the time being. We can change.
