I actually happen to think the business potential for Content™️ is wildly overrated; it's based singularly on the idea of distributing ads to the eyeballs consuming it & that's, uh, let's just say "not popular" & thus, speaking as a marketer, not effective - the return on investment for this is *fart noise* for most businesses & it only seems to be getting worse.
Sadly this probably won't stop content mills from flooding the 'net anytime soon...
