Like, I guess I can see the scenario where federating with Threads leads to a chain of events that causes brigaders to sign up for mastodon.social—but that could totally happen without federating with Threads. It doesn't even have to happen on Threads or an ActivityPub platform at all. LOTT could post on Twitter and tell people to sign up for mastodon.social.",
