I said no, that radiation makes heat and it isn't kinetic energy.
My nuclear engineer friend said I made him sad because I was taking concepts behind the shed and beating them dead.
I think I'd clarify that not all radiation is particles moving(my definition of kinetic energy) and all radiation can potentially make heat.
But something about that sounds wrong to my EE brain and you are more smart in this arena so I figured I'd ask for help.
