So, we have a friend who finds cookbooks in thrift stores for pennies and sends them my way to check out. I don't NEED more cookbooks in my life, but i decided that before i put them in our own Tiny Library for others, i'd make something first. Last night i made "Curried Cabbage and Peas" from Anna Thomas's classic "The Vegetarian Epicure (Book Two)" -- Delicious! -- and tonight i'm making "Gratin de Pommes de Terres Provençal" from Julia Childs' classic "Mastering the Art of French Cooking."
