Jessica Pettway's death was literally the same trajectory my wife was on in 2020-2023. Same diagnosis (except the cancer, thank God).
Started abt 4 months post-Covid in 2020. VERY VERY VERY BAD BLEEDING. She ended up on numerous iron transfusions for severe anemia caused by blood loss. Heart began to suffer related, got very very weak, etc. Gyno said fybroids and 'unidentified' growths - "probably benign." They removed the worst ones and then did a biopsy. Came back non-cancerous. (>10 weeks later btw)
She recovered. After surgery removed some, the others "resolved" (i.e. died off) and now she feels 100% of normal. But I wonder if she hadn't been able to get them removed (like Pettway) what would've happened.
So PSA - if you develop these symptoms DO NOT WAIT ON IT. GET THEM REMOVED. IGNORE THE DOC SAYING THEY ARE BENIGN.
It's definitely Covid. Covid Covid Covid Covid: ~2.5x the rate of fibroids & 3x rate of cysts in post-Covid)
"Studies (n = 65 and n = 191) have found increased rates of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, secondary amenorrhea, uterine fibroids (25% vs. 10% of healthy controls), endometriosis, ovarian cysts (43% vs. 13% of healthy controls) ... "
