they are adding a new KYC requiring feature recently, this is kinda sad
i just damn well signed up for heroku yesterday thinking i needed it, which i don't, because i found a better library for my needs that lets me use normal fucking reverse proxy, and their signup flow blocked because i was using VPN, so i turned it off, and ok, then as soon as i get email verification done switch it back on and it doesn't blink, and they want to put a temp hold on $1 on my card
i keep forgetting what a hellacious spookfest is normie dev culture, and how little distance you have to go to have glowing in your face
