I was looking at new releases at the library when I heard an older couple come in and inquire about a library card. They not only needed ID but proof (utility bill, etc.) that they lived locally. They were summer people but they owned a house. What if they didn’t?
Are you telling me tourists can’t use the library. I can see wanting ID, but beyond that why aren’t we handing out library cards to anyone who comes in?
