Tea, relaxation, and listening to your body - all sound lovely!
Thanks, I think Dad has reached the stage where he knows he has the disease, and he knows that it makes him tired and “I feel dopey today” - so when he says that, I say “its okay, Dad, I know. There’s no rush.”
Sometimes he takes longer to remember things he wants to say, sometimes he loses threads of conversations, and a fact will pop up later in the phone call. I miss him, but I’m very grateful for any time I get with him. He’s had an incredible life and taught a lot of people. And now he’s teaching me, again, to be patient, in a new way.
(And I didn’t mean this to be a eulogy.)
