We don't, and can't, know how exactly, but it can lead to greater centralization in a number of ways. It's a risk that cannot just be ignored, particularly when there's nothing about DC that actually benefits Bitcoin. The main argument has always been "destroy shitcoins by enabling them on DC". I don't know any Bitcoiner who wants those degens leaching on Bitcoin. It's bad enough we got NFT inscriptions.
