I understand it (sort of, except the obtuse confusing bits like layers which have absolutely nothing to do with layers) because I’ve been doing CSS since it first started being talked about on the W3 groups in the 90s, and about 15 years ago I could teach it to a useful level, but really I don’t think I could teach it now, it’s too much of a tangle to someone coming in cold today
