There's a reason that I want a fantasy one so badly. CSI: Waterdeep where they replace the fake science with magic that can be designed to have narratively interesting restrictions would be so much better. An apothecary, a diviner, and a necromancer could be the main techs. And you've got so many twists available when someone can say "A shape shifter framed me".
