Paranormal story time. So I got home earlier and an odd but eerie sort of unsettling pressure washes over me, like I could feel the density in the air. I don’t want to say “omg it was like someone was watching me,” but that’s kind of what it was.
Odder still I always expect the cat to come to me when I arrive at home because he always goes to the front door the moment I put the keys in. So normally he’s knocking about but now he’s not. Strange, but whatever. I brush the feeling off as well as my coat, throw the keys in the dish and go back to my room.
I found the cat with his back arched, still and stiff as a board, facing the lounge chair in the corner, and there’s a Goddamned imprint in the chair as if someone’s sitting there and I’ve just gone back to ignoring it and am having nice pasta.
I said “nigger” three times so hopefully it fucks off. Cat’s still on edge though.
