i actually have two questions for #climate #scientists. please answer me.
1. does #ice that is floating in the water (no #landmass below) actually increase water levels if it melts?
i'm asking because when i freeze a container of liquid in the freezer, it expands and compresses when it unfreezes.

2. how much #ice does actually sit on top of landmasses and would potentially increase #water levels by #melting into the #oceans/#rivers?
