Additionally, Republicans work to solidify minority control by building structures that limit votes and make it impossible for them to lose (see: Wisconsin). Democratic states tend to name it fairer. There's no way, I'd ever buy the argument that they are the same, because 1. It isn't true, 2. I was deeply involved in a party and saw it wasn't true.
