Small branches and twigs have a c/n ratio of 500/1
This is why I spend a lot of time collecting these elements and chopping them finely.
They are one of the highest sources of carbon you can give to a compost pile.
You can also feed it directly to your garden beds they will make an excellent mulch for the winter.
