Long and short of it is you better be your own advocate. We now get a copy of the records anytime there's a visit with the doc. We have found errors or issues 70% of the time we look. It's disgusting what has happened to the medical field.
Even the acceptable ranges for labs is messed up. You need to learn to read the test results yourself and then discuss them with your doctor IMO.
