I find it deeply problematic that my local newspapers make it impossible to read almost any of their local journalism through the access portals they provide to the local library system.
There are, at most, only 14 articles available for a given day. I’m pretty sure they have more than that in the print edition.
Since you can’t read their local journalism directly from their website without a digital subscription, it’s extremely difficult to be an informed voter in local races.
