The end of book 10.
Horatio is justifying murdering thousands to, in his mind, fight for his son, who has simply turned out to be a woman(Hazel). Because Horation refuses to see that, Cedric starts to repeatedly conjure an illusion of his "son", who acts out the death of women who died from being kept trapped in a male gender.
They buried her as Steve.
