For decades now, we have had sci-fi showing dark #dystopian futures where a handful of corporations (controlled a few oligarchs) control every aspect of human society and everyday life.

You'd think most people would want to AVOID these futures given all the warnings we've had in various forms of media.

But years after year, companies like Apple, Google and Microsoft show us how they're working hard to bring this dystopia to the real world... and people cheer and applaud that.
